The aesthetics service at Emerald Avenue Medical Clinic covers non-surgical facial treatment and skin rejuvenation, carried out by a practitioner working from facial anatomy rather than a treatment menu.
Every plan begins with an assessment of the face as a whole, not the single feature that prompted the appointment. Where a concern is better addressed by a medical or dental route, that is said plainly at consultation rather than treated here.
The approach is restraint. Treatment is staged, reviewed and adjusted, and the practitioner will decline a request that does not suit the face in front of her.
The first appointment is a consultation. The practitioner will ask what has brought you in, examine your face at rest and in movement, and go through what each option involves, including its risks and what it will not address.
Where treatment is carried out on the same day, that is agreed with you first. Many plans are deliberately staged across more than one appointment so that each step can be reviewed before the next.
Please come without make-up where you can, and tell the practitioner about any previous injectable or laser treatment, including when and where it was carried out.
