About these terms
These terms are between you and Emerald Avenue Medical Clinic L.L.C., a clinic licensed by the Dubai Health Authority under DHA registration number 5540173, at Al Fattan Tower, Business Hub JBR 1, Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
By using this website, or by booking or attending an appointment, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
How we handle your information is set out separately, in our privacy policy and our cookie policy.
This site is not medical advice
Everything published here is general information. It describes the specialities we offer, the people who practise here and what a visit involves. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan and not a substitute for a consultation.
Medicine is specific to the person. Nothing you read here can account for your history, your examination or your results. Please do not act on it, and please do not delay seeing a clinician because of it.
We do not offer teleconsultation. We do not give medical advice by email, by WhatsApp, through the forms on this site or through our social media accounts. If that changes, these terms will be updated before the service opens.
In an emergency
This clinic is not an emergency department. If you are seriously unwell or injured, call 998 for an ambulance or 999 for the police, or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Do not use this website, a form or a message to report an emergency. Messages are read during clinic hours only, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 20:00.
Appointments
A request made through this site is a request, not a confirmed booking. The appointment exists once we have confirmed it with you.
We may occasionally need to move or cancel an appointment, for clinical reasons or because a clinician is unavailable. We will tell you as early as we can and offer you the next available time.
If you cannot attend, please tell us as soon as you are able, so the time can be offered to someone else. Where a deposit or a cancellation charge applies to a particular service, you will be told before you book.
Please arrive a little ahead of your appointment time. A late arrival may have to be shortened or rebooked, so that the patients after you are not delayed.
Fees and payment
Prices shown on this site are in UAE dirhams and include VAT where VAT applies.
Consultation fees are published. The cost of a procedure is assessed at consultation, because it depends on findings we cannot know in advance. Where a price is published for a fixed price treatment, that is the price.
Payment is due at the time of your visit, unless we have agreed otherwise with you or unless an insurer is settling the account directly. Where instalment payment through a provider such as Tabby is offered, that arrangement is between you and the provider, on their terms.
Published prices may change. The price that applies is the one confirmed to you at booking or at consultation.
Insurance
We accept a limited number of insurers and the list is being extended. Please check with us before your visit.
Where an insurer is involved, approval is a matter between you and your insurer. We will submit what is required, but we cannot guarantee that a claim will be approved. If a claim is declined, or part of a fee is not covered, that part remains payable by you.
Treatment and consent
Before a procedure, the clinician will explain what is proposed, what it involves, the alternatives and the risks. You will be asked for your consent, and for some procedures that consent is written. You may withdraw it at any point.
Medicine cannot be guaranteed. No clinician here will promise a result, and nothing on this site should be read as promising one. People respond differently to the same treatment, and every procedure carries risk. What we undertake is that your care is delivered with reasonable skill and care, by clinicians licensed by the Dubai Health Authority to do the work.
A patient under 18 attends with a parent or legal guardian, who gives consent on the child’s behalf.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website, from reliance on anything published on it, or from the site being unavailable.
Clinical liability is a separate matter. It is governed by UAE medical liability law and by the regulations of the Dubai Health Authority, and nothing here limits your rights under them.

If you are not satisfied with our response, a complaint about clinical care may be taken to the Dubai Health Authority. A complaint about how we have handled your personal information may be taken to the UAE Data Office.

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
